Our History
1966–1967 | Where It All Began
A Backyard Project That Started a Legacy
Mary and Harold Chaffee built their family’s first inground pool with the help of family and local contractors. As neighbors began asking them to build pools of their own, Chaffee’s Swimming Pools was born. Many of those original pools are still enjoyed today.
Late 1990s–2000 | Expanding Beyond Pools
Complete Backyard Transformations
As customer needs evolved, Chaffee’s expanded into hardscape design and construction, allowing the team to deliver complete outdoor living spaces instead of just swimming pools.
2010 | Innovation Meets Craftsmanship
Award-Winning Design
Chaffee’s introduced digital pool design, giving homeowners the ability to visualize their projects before construction began. During this time, the company also earned regional and international recognition for excellence in pool and spa design.
2015–2019 | Building the Future
A New Home in Goshen
After outgrowing its previous location, Chaffee’s purchased property in Goshen and spent several years planning and constructing its new headquarters and showroom, creating a destination where customers could experience the Chaffee difference firsthand.
